停課不是額外假期，學生應善用不同學習模式繼續在家學習，包括使用本校提供的網上課室 (Google Classroom) 及其他電子學習工具，做到「停課不停學」。
Class suspension notice (3)
Dear Parents and Students,
The Education Bureau has announced that all schools will not resume classes before March 16.
Mr Kevin Yeung, the Secretary of Education, said that there is no urgency for students now staying in the Mainland or other countries to return to Hong Kong, but they are advised to strictly comply with the preventive measures suggested by the local authorities. Students currently in Hong Kong should avoid travelling abroad, so as to reduce the risk of being infected during the journey. Students should stay home as far as possible, and avoid crowded places and group activities.
Since class suspension is not an extra holiday, students should make good use of different modes of learning, including Google Classroom provided by the school and other e-learning tools, to achieve the goal of “suspending classes without suspending learning”.
Regarding the scheduled activities in our school calendar, rearrangements have been made as follows:
1. All the extra-curriculuar activities, supplementary classes before March 15, day camps and camps between March and April as well as all the overseas study tours of this school year will be cancelled.
2. The scheduled Ling Liang Church Joint School Retreat on March 20 will be cancelled. If classes resume, students will go to school and attend Friday classes that day.
3. The scheduled Second Term Uniform Test between March 30 and April 3 will be cancelled. If classes resume, students will attend full-day classes from Monday to Friday.
4. The school will consider making adjustments to the summer holidays based on the loss of learning time. The details will be announced later.
I hope that we can be supportive and embrace Faith, Hope and Love amid the difficult time.
During class suspension, our campus remains open. The school has strengthened the cleaning of premises and put in place preventive measures. For enquiries, please contact the school general office.
May God bless you and keep you.
Mr. Law Wai Man
